ZobeRoy Isfahan Company
ZobeRoy Isfahan Company was established in July 1998 through the efforts of experienced specialists in the country’s zinc industry. Its goal was to create greater added value and promote non-oil exports. The company was founded on a 40,000-square-meter plot with a 5,000-square-meter infrastructure, located 20 kilometers southwest of Isfahan, adjacent to Bama Company.
The production unit of Isfahan Zinc Smelting Plant consists of four main sections.

Ore Enrichment
The production unit consists of two sections: crushing and Waelz kilns.

Electrolysis
This unit contains 120 zinc deposition cells, each equipped with 25 rows of anodes and cathodes.

Solution Processing
In the solution processing unit, which operates in four shifts, procedures are carried out to produce a solution containing zinc sulfate.

Melting and Casting
The sheets produced in the electrolysis unit are transferred to the furnace, where they are melted at temperatures between 450 and 500°C. The molten zinc is then cast into 25-kilogram or one-ton molds and sent to the consumer market.

Zinc Ingot
In this company, zinc concentrate is converted into sheets through hydrometallurgical methods. In the electrolysis unit, it is then transferred to the furnace, melted, and cast into 25-kilogram or one ton molds, which are then sent to the consumer market.
The most complete zinc ingot production chain
The company’s annual production capacity is approximately 9,000 tons of zinc ingots, which are mainly exported to China, India, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.
